The common ideology here is with AWD, Subaru provides additional safety net. From this incident, perhaps some may need to rethink about safe driving no matter what safety features the car offers. Car has generally improved vastly in the safety aspect but nothing beat driving it safely. A Toyota corolla with one airbag and no VSC can be as safe as when driven properly.

I suspect a collision prevention system may well soften the impact of an imminent collision with auto braking but no one knows exactly what happened.

Believe it's a GOLF GTI. No type R in the picture here. Type R is the name given to Honda Cars.

AWB??

Are  NA i-Land  i-Premium the same thing?

Just went showroom. Found answer to my own question.

Tried both XT and NA. Now heart is on XT, especially after hearing the CVT whine in the NA while XT is effortless.

Yes. And i am just past the speed camera

Cabin space wise, legacy or forester bigger?

In terms of rear seats and legroom, Legacy got the most in Subaru's lineup.

But of course headroom, vertical storage such as piling stuff up in the boot, etc, Legacy lose lah.

Can NA owners comment is the CVT whine audible when driving at 90km speed, and how about overtaking at this speed?

I might have done the NA injustice because i was driving not in the typical way.

Forester has cevs surcharge, but SGCM add the 5k into ARF.

So scrap value is value before surcharge or after surcharge?

It whines too during spirited driving but didn't experience it while cruising at 90km/hr.

Get the FXT, FNA is for old men like me whom used to be driving jap family sedans. Heart is too weak for such torques.

Just Collected my XT --! Loving it. [bounce1]

My SE Choy was the best - he read the COE and market very well - booked the car in early July at a good low price and got the COE in the first bid.

He gave good advice - advised not to get the guarenteed COE and chance the non-G 8 bid  instead  just before the lower COE quota

announcement. Managed to secure COE in first bid with no top up.

It pays to go with the more senior, older and wiser agents !

surcharge doesn't impact scrap value cos you pay upfront liao.

Only the rebates are affected.(mazda2, vezel, we, etc) you get discount upfront then the G take back with scrap value where they will factor in cevs.

Actually it will be interesting in Subaru comes out with a 5+2 seater like the Xtrail/Sorento segment..

The +2 for Xtrial is useless. Add up extra weight only.
