How much you bought Thinkware, is it better than iRoad?

Also how much did you paid for installation?

TY in advance.

Thinkware is definitely better , having have both brands. I bought Thinkware F750 ( design award model) with 2ways camera @$560 with 24 hrs monitoring installation via hot wiring that comes with the set. It has features like: lane departure warning, front collision alert, build-in GPS with traffic and speed limit warnings and of course wireless WIFI connection to smartphone. Quality and reliability is top notch so far with my experience and it's wifi connection work really well to view HD captured videos unlike Iroad whose main weakness is the poor wifi connection that has high tendencies to drop connection

Hi bros, if change the interior lights to LED, will MI void warranty?

I don't think so . Many owners change stock bulbs with LED ones. I have changed all my FXT interior lights and car license plates into LED ones since new . The light ambience and brightness is telling ..in the long run worth it cos it's better - consume less energy, long lasting , brighter , instant on ( no blinking before light up) and most of all - a joy to look at especially at night

Have to be cautious about Forester Window visor.  I got the window visor stated from Year 2013-2016 but cannot fit well.  I knew 2 accessories shop are selling the same type of window visor that I bought online after I share this infor

mation with them.

Daily driving time around 1.5 hours , the rest of the time is parked. My FXT is about 5 months old now and has only clocked around 6000km

Very low mileage.

My FXT 10mth already 25k+

Because the drive is so nice make you want to go the longer distance.

Interesting, I notice that there are not many turbo cars pair up with cvt gb. The fxt is one of them. Then another one is the new civic turbo. The rest are all either pair with dsg or dct or some kind of dual clutch gb.

Saw a white civic turbo this afternoon traveling along aye towards mce. It was flexing its muscles. Can see the new owner was testing out his car. Really look sporty. The initial acceleration at lower speeds seems laggy, not sure if it's the turbo lag or cvt lag? After a while it pick up speed pretty quickly.

No. Conti are mainly 6spd auto and above or dsg.

If our FXT come with 8spd auto will be perfect. CVT is still CVT no matters how good they are, still can feel a bit of slip.

yea 6 / 8 speed or dsg will have given the FXT a 0-100 under 7s.

Like the new 2.0 Tiguan or even the NX200, even though both are heavier.

Subaru probably went CVT to keep the fuel efficiency acceptable.
