Haha... MI should make a proposal to SAF, don't miss that opportunity. No COE required I presume,just the yearly budget ;)

This matt green Forester should be the default vehicle for all Commanders, in line with the principle of Prudence.

Maybe we can buy together ("group buy") to get better deals/freebies under one SE?

@Savvy777

I think better not. Later on the road we see whole convoy of mindef Forrester going for exercise we sianzz liao.

Why not? Maybe SAF can save more by asking all drivers of Forester to BYOV to in-camp training. For doing that, you get a rebate of 50% on COE, win-win? ;)

A friend told me that there is a one month lock-in period with the SE once you test drive in Tan Chong and MI. That is, your particular (NRIC) is lock-in with the SE in their system when you registered for your first test drive.

- You cannot change the SE during lock-in period even his/her service is lousy or poor attitude or for other reasons.

- Other SEs will not want to close the sale with you as they they have nothing to gain (commission, quota).

Are the above true? Anyone can share? Thanks.

If true, then I finally can choose other SE but I definately will not go back to my first SE.

I think most AD has this practice.

Yes spot on. The lapse time period is 1 month. No matter what reason, the comm will not go to the new SE but the original SE whom 'locked' you in for the test drive.
