That sounds like asking me to loot gao gao :).

Tech says dun go pass 3k during run in period.

MI mechs know shit.

they told me led boot and cabin lights are the cause and are bad for my car battery as they drained more than normal bulbs when my car batt need replacement after 6 mths.

they also told me that by installing sti strut bar on my own will void my suspension warranty unless install by their mechs. lol

Read your owner manual. It definitely more than that. Subaru engineer should know better than those tech.

I'm curious how u guys loot 3k rpm?

I hit 120kph w Ard 2300 rpm nia.

Or need to switch to S/S# mode then can?

Aiyo, when traffic light turns green, just step on the throttle fully and don't release, you will pass 3000 liao ma.

It doesn't have to be cruising to be at 3000.

Wat sort of freebies u are getting depends on the loan amount and tenure. The same SE can gives different stuff based on these 2 areas.

Overly light food easy to cause carbon build up in the engine.

Solar film standard on all Subaru. Don't kana bluff.

Send the solar film they installed is lousy quality. The IR and UV rejection is very low.

You meant carbon built up also resulting in higher petrol consumption?

The freebies I got were part of the standard package. I didn't really get much additional freebies as loan I took on was the bare minimum.

As for the solar film quality, I don't think it's that bad. However, what I find useful is the window shades that I bought from MI. Does help cut the heat quite a bit and my children don't really complain of the glaring sun in the mornings.

Collected my FNA just 2 days ago, now the car has got stop & start, anyway to permanently disable it or make the system disable as default?

Also my SE mentioned that MI now has 2 types of door lock for Forester, 1 is will locked when stepping on brake before moving off, cost around $180. The other is speed lock, above 20km/h then will lock, cost around $300++, sorry cannot remember the exact figure.

the forester now comes with start-stop technology? My FXT is less than 3 months old. At that time, ours do not come with start-stop.

It would be much cheaper to do the door lock module outside compared to MI.

Stop start can be quite irritating. My fren's BMW 320 has it and he always have to switch it off as the sudden jerk is quite irritating.

I personally feel that stop start is quite a gimmick.

For a higher performing car such as fxt, is there a need to save that bit of fuel? I rather get a 8 speed gear box than stop start.

I wish mine doesn't come with the ASS (Automatic Start Stop)

I always have to switch it off manually before I drive and many times I still forget.

Same here, my FXT was registered late Jan.

Not really sure if I would like the start-stop mechanism. Hearing most other drivers just turn it off when they start the car.

As for the lock module, wouldn't doing it outside void the warranty?

Not sure if it's worth the difference in price especially since we already spend quite a bit more on servicing with MI already.

I guess, if we're not concerned about the warranty, then doing the lock module outside would make more sense.
