Turbocharged

Could be. Can't really remember. 3 yrs ago liao lol.

I know either toshiba/Panasonic (Can't rem which one), if something spoil, parts are expensive.

I chose ME as the safest of all the options. The toyota.

Ah finally, a MHI user gives his 1st hand opinion. Good!

I think should be, that is one of the reason I didn't take mhi 3 years back.

End up I didn't take Me also because suddenly remember it's not make in China but make in Thailand.

End up I by another brand now cannot remember.😂😂😂I think it's toshiba because make in Japan.

Supercharged

Prefer Daikin all AC old bird recommended brand and spare parts are cheaper. Those ac leaking water, condensation are cause by poor installation...... My Daikin running well for 5 years...but my house has a unique ac combination. single split inverter for each room and i have 3 rooms so 3 condensers on the ac ledge unlike most will be running system 3....

I am also using the daikin system 3 (non-inverter) at my house and this system is actually a very old model (at least 10 years) which daikin didnt bother to replace it with a newer model. So far it serves me well but i dont use it everyday, even i use it is just for 3 to 4 hrs in the night.

Why i got the non-inverter when i hunt for an aircon system 5 years ago is because different air-con promoter give the same explanation that if you dont use the air con for long hours, there will be no savings and i think they are honest as they might just sell you the inverter system which would cost more.

I have same problem with conceal pipe.

If i lower temp to 24 , water will start to drip. You have any contractor that can handle conceal piping ?

concealed piping is always a big headache. . . . boh pian have to re run new pipings due to higher pressure of new generation compressors

System 3

MHI  compressor SRK252J-S is 3 x 6824btu,

ME   Compressor MSY-GE10VA is 3 x 8530 btu.

Looks like ME has more cooling power for their individual split.

I thrown out my old toshiba sys 5 and replaced with 2 sets of MHI sys 3 just end of may.

their SRK25 is the indoor unit, supposedly rated 9000btu (+/-), which should be sufficient for a normal HDB room,

However I got a rather good deal, the seller got promotion to free upgrade to SRK35 which is 12000btu, but with the same compressor....

so far so good, enough cooling for me and the kids even i set it to like 26/27deg...maybe i am getting old...
