They would look at his academic performance followed by checking the parents background. It will be an added bonus if one of the parents is a former PAP activist like TPL's father. Another thing is that they are not supporters of LGBT. Kumar although is a good potential candidate but he chose the wrong party to join. Maybe in SG100 he will have a better chance.
