New Jaguar CX 17

To be fair, all brands got good n not good SE for sure. Alot of factors may cause this as well eg time of visit, new car launch, customer attitude etc.

If u go during a peak hour, don't expect to be served like a king cos likely not enough SE to serve u as they at overwhelmed n also during new car launch. Also what goes around, comes around. Talk like the SE owes u a living n u can't expect gracious replies in return as these SEs are only human.

That said, I've seen SEs who smoke about their product when they are not sure n that can be a turn off, badmouthing a competitor is also unacceptable as they Shld be selling their car's strengths instead. In short, takes two hands to clap. SEs shld be professional n clients shld manage their expectations n a pleasant sale experience shld happen. If one party tries to take advantage of the other, no one wins including customer so bear this in mind always. My 2 cents.

i cant guess....

got clues????

Having serious thought at the moment regarding this 2 models/brands.

I have not experienced the treatment you had thou with Porky.

I was wearing singlet, bermudas and slippers thou. The sa was nice to go with me and discuss on the various models i enquired.....

hahah. I was in office attire but no one hiu me. sigh

Ok, i try singlet, berms and slippers next time,. hahah  [:)]

I am an existing customer of Eurokars (Not porky) and also you can say a customer of Wearnes Jaguar.

So far servicing am quite happy with Eurokars; Jaguar is alright but i remember they used to be very slow in their work and can somehow never align the steering wheel straight.

Cross the Jaguar warranty period and Jaguar being famous for suspension bushings relative fast wear, haha; hold on to yr knickers and ensure you have enough money.

Once the Jaguar stalled in the middle of the road, car got towed back to Wearnes; was told that the whole engine block needed to be changed; estimated 30-40k if i didnt rmb wrongly. But thankfully, someone saved the car and just un-jammed one of the cylinders mechanisms and all was fine.

Suspension sets and gearbox mountings arent cheap also.

I am not so sure about the latest Jags thou, maybe I should give them another try haha. Still love Jags' feel.

I sat down at Wearnes for quite abit, munching their lovely raspberry swiss rolls and looking at these 2 jaguars; not an easy choice.

But as i have said in one of my earlier posts; wait for a 'fire sale' haha. It will happen again, one day.

http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/jaguar-f-pace-vs-porsche-macan-luxury-suvs-compared

Both are equally great cars. Given the pricing, the base model of the Macan can get you the 3.0 Fpace.

Tough choice..not including the "famous" additional options that will cost alot on the porky. Unless you plan on getting the porky without options which I do not recommend.

I might be bias. But for me driving porky is the way to go, space and (rarity on the road for now) Fpace.

It is good to see some competition in this segment.

does anyone know / or have any the information what is available for the "base model" of F-Pace (SG) specs ?

aka what is included off the shelf - eg, blind spot / lane assist, 19-20 inch sport rims, Apple / Android Audio, etc ?

or what is exclude from the RRP and consider as add on?

Thanks!

The closest info you can get now is through the brochure on the local jaguar dealer website here : http://jaguar.com.sg/vehicles/f-pace

But it does states specifications may vary according to local market.

We will officially know when they launch the car on the 14th next Thursday.

Maybe someone here that have placed an order will know more.
