the draw was a fair result on the balance of play. both teams could have won it imho.

Pool's defence continue to be a source of worry and Sakho's form is really questionable at this time. Kolo cant be faulted for his "slowness"...

next up at Anfield, Utd with a renewed Rooney who has suddenly found his scoring boots

No worries, Firmino also found his scoring boots ...

history tells us that Rooney likes to score in batches... can go on a dry spell but once start, abit cant stop lol.

anyway, good to see Firmino finding form. I always think his best position is a false 9.  He had a few of these spectucular shots earlier in some games this season but always hit post. Glad it went in yesterday and it had to be very good to beat a top GK in Peter Cech.

Form is temporary, class is permanent :D

Sakho was still in the state of daze after the collision with Giroud but still tried his best to defend the first goal. Second goal Migs has to be questioned on his positioning. Third goal is just individual brilliance from Giroud.

There are now calls from fans to let Ward starts against Man Utd

unlikely Ward is ready. People were also calling for Bogdnan previously to replace Mingolet.. until they see those howlers... now turninng to Ward already lol.

Mingolet's mistakes are obvious... but certaintly not blatant until Bodgnan's standard yet...  he has been steady in most games to be fair.

Pep already agreed to take over City.

Don't think by spending loads will make Pep change his mind. Furthermore, whatever Man Utd can spend, Man City will have no problem matching

Scali he change mind and become klopp's assistant [laugh]

BREAKING: FIFA bans Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid from signing players in next 2 transfer windows. They can only sign players in the summer of 2017.

So all can forget about signing players from these 2 clubs unless they can get them in this Jan window

Lol yup. After fabricating interest from us but no movement on the deal, he has no choice but to bring in another club. Give him another 2 weeks then maybe we will hear Man Utd leading the race.

Can and milner impressed me.

But ibe. .....never mind.

Ibe didn't make enough runs to make the False 9 system works. But I won't be too harsh on him. Said before the season starts, he needs at least one more season.

Joel Campell impressed me, his fast and direct runs caused us hell lots of problem. That was what Ibe was supposed to do in that game too

Ibe simply lack confidence going forward and failed on many occasions to pass defenders. Disappointed to say the least.
