What kind of petrol better for B8 - 95 or 98 ?

Any different in mileage using 95 & 98 ?

Of course 98 works better in almost every car....Fish Maw Soup & Shark Fin Soup,which is better.?

Installer is in Toh Guan. But if u go to JB, u can get it done for about half the cost.

 

I didn't really shop around at that time. Just felt that safety is important and for a car this quiet, the reverse camera is good to have and should have been part of the car or at least offered as an option to add on by the AD.

 

Have been driving the car for a few month. So far so good.

Anyone tune their Passat B8 1.8tsi one? Including the power of the car.

 

One thing i read and understand that the 1.8TSI 7 speed DSG gearbox have a max rating for 250Nm. Which the 1.8TSI is producing now.

 

Is the above right?

Read on this MTM tune. Same as the Audi MTM?

WIth tune and include in the torque. Will affect the 7DSG gearbox?

Should be the same for VW & Audi.

 

While it's really optimising the capabilities of the car, it's really hard to say how it'll risk pushing it too hard.

Battery for the B8 damn lousy.

 

1year 1mth 21k km battery flat cant start. Not covered by warranty anymore. Have disabled ASS since after gotten the car when new. Korean battery. 

 

Anyone came?

 

THe original battery is EFB battery. not AGM. currently on normal non EFB or AGM battery. Will have any issue? Since ASS not enabled.

 

Or what brand of battery bro here can intro?

13mths really quite short for EFB batteries, especially if you've disabled start-stop all the way. Did you also have your alternator checked?

 

Still on my original set at 8mths. And I do keep the start-stop on most of the time, less slow and heavy traffic. May have to start to keep a lookout on the next change too.

1. You have to push the wiper lever to intermittent level after setting it on the infotainment.

2. I am not sure as I had not played any videos

3. You can disable the function although it is not permanent.

4. Should be, it will reset after each re-fuel.

1. There is also a few selections on the wiper stick on the sensitivity.

2. Doubt it's meant to play video though I read that there's software that can be added for YouTube. Search "youtube for android auto"

3. The start-stop has a few built-in criteria such as humidity, so it's Auto in a sense.

4. I believe the "since start" accounts for journey like a tripmeter and the "since refuel" measures by the top-up of the tank.
