Nzy Twincharged July 23, 2014 Share July 23, 2014 (edited) i think thats not what i meant. assuming u have no box. just get a friend who is a current sh sub to get a box.(pay only rental) then u plug in your own house. no cancellations needed replied Doesn't seem to work. My box will only show the channels that house subscribed to when I plug into other people's house. Kb27 Supersonic July 23, 2014 Share July 23, 2014 Doesn't seem to work. My box will only show the channels that house subscribed to when I plug into other people's house. Each subscriber per box/smartcard is authorized for those channels he paid for. I believe there's a signal that goes around all the boxes and programmed them on a round robin basis. It might take some time for that signal to hit your box at a different location. Regardless where you plugged in, you always get what you paid for. Wt_know Supersonic August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 (edited) because HK broadband speed is more "guarantee" spore ISP say give you 1Gbps ... but can only promise "up to" and mostly drop at least 30% or more due to congestion if surfing net at 3-4am then very fast la besides, most of the content reside in usa, europe or asia (hk/china/taiwan/etc) so the bottleneck is trans-atlantic fiber cable bandwidth from spore to outside world Even with 1GB connection? Wt_know Supersonic August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 (edited) hearsay, telco is unwillingly to invest in new equipment to make internet speed faster because they need to recover the cost of old equipment ... there is no "real" competition in local ISP la ... hence, they can upgrade and rollout their strategy own time own target ... Infrastructure really need to buck up. Even with so much competition between the telcos, they can be so lousy.
