I believe he wants us to learn and remember the lessons. why he did what he did.

yes, reading the books it does sound self-aggrandizing, and maybe it is, as some know what happen behind the scenes.

Honestly, I am expecting the cracks starts within the party he had founded and surprise to see it happens in his family with many admired.

I don't really think there are any real "cracks" in the family. LKY has taught them well blood thicker than water (Evian) or Shell 95.

 

After evaluating I come to believe that the recent bickering is just the eccentric nature and had always get what she wants LWL way.

 

When suddenly she could not get what she wants, all hell break loose until big or younger brother comes to pacify.

 

Money and power that is holding the family and extended family together.

 

You see this quite common among the super rich.
