Check the price list in sg carmart and found that a lancer ex elegant version has quietly launched which is $4k cheaper than the usual sport version. Basically it take away the start/stop keyless feature, fog light, day running light etc.

Mitsubishi Motor business consecutive losses, going to bankrupt, it's clearing stock old 4AT +  ago mivec engine :a-aggressive:

If yours is with the LED tail lamp, yes it has only one reverse light instead of two. Not sure about the normal combi lights.

Agreed, those with normal combi tail-lights.... belongs to LCR.

The Lancer logo at rear also different, they having Lancer Ex pasted at left bottom corner instead of Lancer below the 3 diamonds.

I am fine with the LCR model tail-lights and etc.

Most important is the price saving.

Any info from bro/sis here, thank you.

For those of you on the LED rear light, actually our LED tail lamp came from Eagle Eye Asia.

If you prefer 2 reverse light can actually order from them the version that had 2 reverse light. You will still pass your inspection with that.

Turbocharged

And so, the long overdue death of the CY2A/CZ4A Lancer has come; 2017 will be the end of it.

But with it, so will the legendary nameplate.

Mitsubishi is focusing on subcompacts and SUVs going forward and there will be no new Lancer, no new C-segment sedan. Perhaps even more sadly, no new Evolution.

For now, the only three-diamond-star sedan going forwards will be the Mirage G4 (Attrage).

It's a shame; introducing an all-new, advanced and revitalized tenth generation Lancer would have been a fantastic way to commemorate the milestone. Its spiritual rival (via big-brothers' rivalry), the Impreza, still goes strong.

The Lancer nameplate could even live on as a sedan-like sporty SUV. Lancer GX or something, ala Volvo S60 Cross Country?
