Just to check all QQ 2L owner mileage experience.

 

i am getting about 10.3L/100Km or about 9.3km/L. what is experience of other QQ2L owner ?

 

I can get about 14km/l in my QQ 2.0. 

 

I pump 98 esso, and not a heavy footed driver.

I check with my SE and he said he can't change to shark fin type of antennae!

 

Will ask him to change the horn. Got a feeling he going to say cannot also.

 

How about the back windscreen - any guys here got the rain visor installed FOC from TC?

 

Any cash rebates? Mine is about $1,200.

Does the shark fin antenna give lousy reception? 

My old car when driving in MCE still can get radio reception. 

But in my QQ 2.0, the reception very fuzzy. 

I wondering if I change to shark fin antenna, will it get even worse....

TPMS arrived. Thanks to the bros who shared the lobang when it was on sale.

Side note: weird placement of the horns. Hidden behind the bumper. Could muffle the sound somewhat. Will see how it performs on the road.

There are many value for money mods and MOs like insulation foam in side panel, <=sgd30 grounding group diy session etc. by passionate bros for bros in the whatsapp group to review for suitability before their participation.

 

Bull dun drink water how to push down its head to drink ?? Ignorance is often not bliss.

 

Hope dun offend any one here and certainly not advertising for bros to join the whatapp group especially since the previous discussed max 200 bros of admin group is almost full anyway.

My experience with shark fin antenna or the radio reception as a whole-

 

Changed to sharkfin after 1 day. Bought from ax cheap cheap.

 

Reception is quite poor. Fuzzles about 20% of the time.

 

And since I take the same road to work Everyday, someday on same certain stretch of road its poor, somedays okay, sometimes at the exact same spot I stop my vehicle (red light) reception becomes poor but once I put my foot on the pedal immediately the reception improves. Not sure if it's a power current issue or something

 

Intend to change back stock antenna sua. Any Bros with feedback on stock antenna? Better or still poor?

To install the sharkfin type, you need to remove that stock antenna and cover it with a plastic sharkfin. The pastic cover is cosmetic. I don't think there is any embedded antenna in it. (If there is, then I may be wrong).

Will the grilles give rise to future problems, like rusting of the grilles? If so, I will just stick to the naked original look.

 

Based on what I see, the horns are normally installed not hidden behind the bumper. They are somewhat visible from the front. The workshop told me they can spray the red horns to black.

Affirmative ..... I am with your that sharkfin can never be better than stock but the usual issue is not only the antenna but the headunit electronics.

 

The sharkfin antenna I had since from taobao uses flat copper film and there are better quality ones and worse quality ones.

25 deg only on rainy days and other "cold" time of the days.

 

It is about 22 deg .... 20 deg on hot days

Did u press the ac button to on? If u only switch on blower, there will be no aircon.

Stock ant still has the best reception. It is the HU poor radio reception. Change to sharkfin gets much noises and change to short ant sounds gets muffled/lower volume. In the end switch back to stock.

Auto fold mirror is useful functionality to automatically folds up the side mirrors when you locked your car .... it  minimises damage especially when parked in narrow lane.

 

It is also an indication that the doors are indeed locked with just a glance from afar in case you wonder if indeed locked.

 

Note however that at least most if not all the cases, the auto fold module from TC is simplex version but guess depends also on the subcon that they may change at that time. While it closes when locked, it only opens when you start your engine and not when doors are unlocked  ... which mean there may be cases that you open the door but did not start engine and walking away with door unlocked but side mirror folded.  I paid SGD85 before car collection but swap it out at accessory shop with duplex version for SGD60 which simply closes when locked and opens when unlocked .... no more doubt.
