bro he's not serious one....

Haha yea I know  [:)] But the i30 price point is hard to beat like you mentioned. Cat B 1.4T engine with multilink rear suspension. Though no fancy CarPlay android auto all those features and lack some safety equipment at 85k 6 bid non guarantee is a steal if the COE continues to still around this range.

But the tuk sound is not on the 1.0T. So the price to you still worth it?

He just give comments in a deadpan manner, or subtly challenge others, or just gives motherhood statements.

In short, he's a troll but not of those scathing types. Still irritating nonetheless.

not fated even if I held out my old mistress last breath till the end....shipment in only April ish.

HU can easily be retrofit. a reasonable 2-3K for solid HU and proper audio.

with slightly lower bhp and 7DCT fuel consumption should be better. refinement unknown. will hope by when the hype dies down to explore options :D

Yeah, that engine is something to beat at the under 100k price point.. I don't think there's anything faster to be honest... not a new car at least..

I consider the i30 an astra killer for the price.

Do u guys agree? Not trolling.

But astra definitely better looking!

Yeap I agree. For the price is unbeatable. If it had came out last year I would have seriously considered it.

What is the rear suspension of Astra? In the brochure, it mentions Watt's link and compound link, are they the same? Is it independent suspension?

One thing Hyundai will do better currently is their aftersales. Being much larger and also more flexible, they can stockpile more parts, and offer service at a decent price.

If you can take a smaller car (compared to the Elantra), slightly less premium materials and the hatchback format, the 1.4T i30 is something that will rule the <100k sales..

Astra.jpg

do not know but for sure it is not watts link. it was removed from 1.4 and below since MY2017. maybe someone can shed some light here.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a well set up torsion beam rear suspension. Some of the world's best handling cars have torsion beam.

I see. then it could be the front issues that made cornering poor
