I read somewhere that Jose purposely got himself sent off so that he can sit higher up the stand to see what kind and where Sean Dyche park his bus. True or not?  [confused]  :a-SOS:  :a-popcorn:

To be frank man utd, created well. Just not clinical. Like pool in the past.

Some of thier missed attempt was really bad. Especially coming from their more establish players such as rooney and Ibra.

Moreno have all the key attribute to be a top class LB, his decision making is not really gd too reckless. I think will proper coaching and more experience he will come gd.

Because he always bombard down the flank thats why ppl always feel his defending and positioning sense is poor.

Remind me of SG when rafa correct him to run into the box at the right moment and not always charging

He will be wondering why sitting there high in the stand ...... [confused]

19 corners & 39 shots = 0 goal .... :a-SOS:

English newspaper (The Sun) reported that ManU & ManCity is eyeing LS this Jan transfer window ....

Quote : "Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is lining up an audacious £135m bid for Barcelona forward Luis Suarez. "

Regarding the fullbacks bombing forward, there are two schools of thought. Old school - full backs should never get ahead of play. Meaning they should also always follow behind the players with the ball and only support the play once the ball enters the final third. New school - full backs charge forward to offer himself as an offensive outlet once possession is won.

Moreno is trained and tasked to play as the new school full back and therefore, in the eyes of those who follow the old school, Moreno will always be out of position.

Ya, that was a very neat move. However, I think the worst miss was from Ibra. No doubt angle not kind but from 3 feet out, I expect him to score.

What do expect from a retiree?

Im with the new trend, force the opp winger to be more concern about def then attack. Cm or cb to cover attacking full back when they are out of position

Quite a good game between Everton and West Ham.

Both teams have pace and power up front. Lukaku and Antonio are really a handful for the opposition.

Very physical game with no one gaining an upper hand.

Switching to Hoffenheim vs Hertha now. Keeping tab on Allan. Few other players i like on the field too

Most creative teams in EPL and top 5 European league.

Man Utd fans shouldn't be too worry then. Once the strikers find their scoring boots, they should be fine.

Goes to show for Man United, they are creating chances but not taking them. I don't normally believe in luck for football but must say United were really unlucky vs Burnley n Stoke previously as well. The 2 opposing goalies n the woodwork combined to thwart them. That Heaton not very far from being the England no. 1 n just to bad he playing for a small club. Think he has overtaken Fraser Foerster who is not too bad a goalie as well n again reinforces the fact that the standard of goalkeeping this season is really top notch

No way Klopp would sign him. Too immobile for the gengenpressing game of Liverpool.

well. Klopp did sign Immobile when he was at Dortmund  [laugh]

O23...i know u hv been saying krius is better thn migs. But based on the 2 goals, im sure migs would hv at least done better n saved either one or even both. Krius hsnt shown y he is pool's no.1

i tend to agree too. Karius went too rashly for the first goal. worse still, I am not sure why he is jumping with his hands down. he was well inside the box so no risk of handball.  Admittedly, it was Lovren's mistake but Karius' decision-making was poor. I believe even if the player had time to bring the ball down under control, Karius have a better chance at saving it, since there was also some defenders nearby.

For the 2nd goal, the defence was abit static and Lovren probably did not expect to be beaten on the jump. Karius was also not prepared for the header too and watched helplessly as the ball hit the net.

Both goals are due to poor defending.  To me, it seems like Karius isn't fully confident at the moment. He only saves well when the shots are straight at him. He even spills the balls on a couple of occasions.

The funny takeaway for Pool in this game is that they expected to be under the onslaught of Benteke and the set pieces threat. Pardew was pretty sure that Beneteke wlll score with his head. The outcome was Pool scored from 2 set pieces instead.  The game of football is really unpredictable.. lol
