the argument here is putting SINGAPORE in the world map

making singspore a travel destination, etc

however, F1 viewership and fans are dropping

the return on investment nobody really knows

F1 calendar is so crowded with so many countries

having spore race does not really move the needle

at least i dont find the govt/organiser is doing enough to "milk" F1 money and distribute the returns to more widely

"taxpayer money" is throwing into longkang to "support" F1?

Its SG GP and here so quiet. [confused]

Raining on the track now. 4pm practise session will be interesting. [nod]

Now only 1pm, by the time rain should have stop long ago?! Anyway, not the first time it rains during F1 right?!

Now 1.30pm, still drizzling.

It will be a wet track for sure. I dont think the Porsche or Ferrari support races will clear the water on track so fast.

So it might be inters for this 4pm practice session.

Can see from my office. [grin]

Lots of mata chia on standby.

Wah our boys in blue fully stretched..gotta jaga the new Yistana and gotta look after F1... [laugh]

But seriously Im gonna be the contrarian here and hope F1 stays...

If in doubt, MTI could possibly look into a shorter term of say 2 years renewal before deciding fully to go or not..no need to sign the full term of 5 years?

Still deciding fully to go or not? Thought F1 already been here for nearly a decade?!
