Rear wheel drive mid engine n light is hard to beat .. I believe rally would be very different setup . Gearbox can be as expensive as the price of a normal road a110

With the 35k discount, in my opinion, its a very good buy considering a Cayman with similar specs easily tops 300k. Granted there is the Supra, but most comparos so far by magazines give the edge to the Alpine.

Just do a Google search of Supra versus Alpine... Multiple links and videos will come up. Just attached two. Of the more read magazines... Both top gear and what car did comparos and gave the edge to the alpine.

the interior of a bmyota looks more plush and worthy of the money spend. 3lt vs 1.8lt .Theres no replacement for displacement

I would have to respectfully.disagree, the Supra looks like well.. Every BMW out there... Plush, perhaps but not very sports car like. I like my sports cars to look like sports cars and the Alpine looks a little like a mini McClaren with its, exposed aluminium, central hollow tunnel and push button gears. But again each to his own. 

No replacement for displacement? Hmmm perhaps this video will dispel that.

if anyone is wondering how many Renault 110 were sold, it is 14 (for the whole year)

not too bad, considering FORD only sold 13 unit
