AD Luxury version PARF is $21k

If PI version ARF is $40k, PARF will be $20k

How about the CEVS Rebate of -$10k?

If with the CEVS Rebate, the return is only $10k

Best to work out the Depreciation correctly.

AD should also have free 3 years service.

However, do consider the FC of NA vs Turbo and the resale market with AD warranty vs PI warranty.

Initially i also think the same aa you as there is a cevs 10k however upon checking the Style Mauve comes with $0 cevs rebates meaning to say if buy that car will confirm get back close to $20k.

With regards to 3 years servicing its the same in fact the PI unit come with 3 years servicing too the last time i checked.

With regards to harrier turbo vs non turbo i dont know the difference. Based on feedback forester turbo version consume more petrol than non turbo version for the same distance travelled. I mean this is quite obvious additional power need additonal fuel and oxygen for combustion.

For warranty i am not so worried unless i am buying a volkswagen, even with my current car although under transeurokar warranty i still choose to service outside because firstly waiting time at AD is sooo long and if you read the fine print they mainly cover engine problem. Normal wear and tear not cover at all.

I am quite surprised that PI still maintaining similar pricing as before harrier turbo launch, i guess they are targetting different market.

Anyway to get good discount for luxury harrier turbo to make decision easier ? Lol

I remember the PI version has a CEVS Rebate.

I don't think this will change unless for 2018 under VES scheme.

Which means you need to decide very very fast.

The PI version infotainment display still in Japanese?

It can be quite ignoring to use translate.

Doubt you can count on big discount from AD...

Unless the COE drop

Consider a PI used one as another option?

For the Harrier Turbo, does anyone know how to remove the start up screen caution message which requires u to press OK every time u start the car? Is damn irritating and ironically that message warns u not to make selections while driving when u have already driven off!

The half leather is "authentic leather"?

Cos pi unit is half leather but i suspect is synthetic one

Have u ask ur appointed service advisor for ways to remove the warning message.

AD HT comes with either Alcantara leather or Nappa leather depending on version. Real or half leather, just make sure it comes from Japan and not locally fitted which is not as good.

On AD or PI route, it is up to individual. It is your hard earned money so spent wisely. For me, I will go with AD for peace of mind and also the turbo. For a heavy car, higher torque helps to save petrol in fact. Lastly, I would rather have more power than no power when I need it, especially when over taking on highways.

First tank was 10.5 for 70% highway, on normal mode which I find adequate for my day to day driving.

Power mode is snappy but a bit over for SG roads.

Go and test it at BM and you can compare better.

I think that cannot be turned off. It's not just on harrier, but all toyota models with the same (lousy) HU.

This doesn't bother me. What does is the poor radio reception in tunnels like MCE. And lack of Android auto support.

Also the start-stop cannot be disabled by default. However, you can change the setting of doors auto unlocking when in P.

Ya, all doors can be unlocked when in P and when driver door opened but you have to read the manual for the steps. Not on any menu option.A lot of features only from reading the manual. Like there are 3 ways to mute the volume but no dedicated button for that.

Not intuitive interface and set up.

Only the premium and elegance model have cevs, style mauve dont have. I dont believe what the SE said initially until he show me the document lol

The Japanese not really my concern as there are only few words, majority of it are numbers which is quite easy to understand

With regards to discount, i thought with competition from borneo, some bros mentioned pi are trying hard to clear stock, even i brought cheque the discount dont defer much.

I did try to look for style mauve in 2nd hand market but i think the demand is quite high, only have 1 unit available in 2nd hand market

Dear all

I will be getting my Harrier Turbo from BM next month. As I am getting the Elegance variant, it does not come with the auto tailgate. Would like to ask if any owners here had installed after market auto tailgate? Any feedbacks and any contacts to share?

Thanks so much...
