This is for the rear seat foot rest. Another car that has this might be the new A8L.

I was using them as boot hold fixtures instead due to its anti slip base.  :XD: ...until @Topgun00 's post on the real boot hold fixtures. lol.

Hi Bros. Are there any common quirks of the 7 speed DSG gearbox? My Octavia 1.0 when engaging reverse gear can feel a jerk. This is even so when I am careful to stop the car completely before engaging the reverse gear. Hopefully nothing serious..haha..

Hi, how old is your Octavia? Still running in? It’s just the gear kicking in I reckon and if it’s new, give it some time to run in more or you can always bring back for a quick check just to be sure.

For my old 6 speed wet clutch, when I just start the car in the morning, there will always be a noticeable jerk when the gear kicks down from 2-1 as it’s still warming up. Other than that, it is fine. My car is really old btw. Haha...

Enjoy your ride!

Hahaha it’s normal to be mistaken but it should also be able to hold the things well as a faux boot fixtures.

Hmm. I didn't notice mine when reversing. Check tomorrow. Its not the start-stop kicking in right? I really hate it when it kicks in. Edited by nardo1982

@Topgun00, you really dismantled your superb huh?ððð

Seriously, I doubt most SE know about this and the heel rest(I suppose that's the two black wedgie stuff you are talking about)

Haha not that I dismantled. Just look around. I really should get to consolidating the list of useful information and tweaks.
Actually you can diy also. Just need to have velcro. Haha.

30 is not very expensive but well... Come on... Skoda SG could throw in a free or extra pair. After all, we are like the embassadors right?

Haha that link is pure poison.

The body kit! Haha.

Seriously ... Skoda SG could do something to engage the early buyers and be their brand ambassador.

Reality is that the nifty features, performance and quality are all not played up. No one even mentioned the alarm system. And you know what, the sensors for the interior monitoring are no longer mounted at the interior lights area. Which brings me to the next point. The sunglasses holder is not specced in. I mean come on...

Time to do something yeah.

I do not know enough their inner workings but from the looks of it, Skoda is not given enough attention as compared to VW.

Look at the showrooms. Skoda showroom looks like an afterthought.

If they want to improve the brand perception the least they should do is to make the showroom look sharper.

Such a simple thing and they cannot get it right.

I really dislike the stop start too...haha. if I remember,I will usually switch it off. The test drive car at Skoda the stop start system feels very smooth leh. Hardly noticeable honestly.

Mine is still in process of running in. Driving very restrained and cautious currently. Soon to hit 1000km though. Yours is a wet clutch while mine is the infamous dry clutch so it is inevitable that I am worried.

I really hope that Skoda itself is not an afterthought too...haha. Perhaps VW thinks that Skoda will give a boost to the bottom line here in Singapore but if things do not turn out well, they will be prepared to drop it. After all VW is their core business here. I hope my fears are unfounded.

I Roger that. No amount of fancy advertising and glossy brochures will replace the early Skoda brand ambassador who will give the most accurate and honest assessment of their cars to potential buyers. As an early Skoda buyer since they made a comeback, they have failed to vow me during the entire buying process. Of course of course,I am just a typical average Joe,a heartlander. No atas job titles. It may be a different story if an elite buys their Skoda though. In meantime,I am still enjoying the drive nonetheless:)

Ooh nice. I din know VRS is available this grey

This grey seems very similar to the Nardo Grey that is offered to the Audi RS models.

I really dislike the stop start too...haha. if I remember,I will usually switch it off. The test drive car at Skoda the stop start system feels very smooth leh. Hardly noticeable honestly.

I always switch the start/stop off, it's annoying AF..  Hope to borrow the OBD11 to turn it off permanently

VRS rims look like Alfa romeo's. Nice...

They copied lambo.

True...considering I'm an existing Skoda owner and placed $10k deposit during 1st weekend of showroom launch in March.

Not here since putting a deposit in March???

Deposit was for RS, which was only launched end July.

I placed order during 1st weekend, so I guess I lost out to people who signed during weekdays.

Does the Superb come with Sunglass holder?
