The dodgy stock speakers definitely need to be swapped out.  

 

While at it, going to put in amp and sub-woofer (active or otherwise) as well.

 

Who would you recommend for installer - shop or freelance ?

I uses CS @ Serangoon Garden. Not cheap but good.
