I have several types of over-the-counter pain killers like paracetamol, ibuprofen and aspirin

if one doesn't work, I will try the next type

paracetamol is the one that I usually reach out first

can't say which one is better, I guess they are different instead of one is better than another

If i have very bad headache, only take naproxen can work. For not so bad headache, usually i take anarex will work.

Those paracetamol usually doesn't work for my headache at all. I never try aspirin for headache, cause i always find aspirin is for blood clot or heart attack. Lol.

maybe I should stock up some naproxen 😅

what brand you took?

anarex doesn't work for me

I see the blood thinning effect of the aspirin as a side benefit

who knows one day it can save me from a mild stroke

Don’t think you can get naproxen from the shelf, and maybe need doc prescription to buy. I got it when i see GP, the latest brand the doc gave is Soden.

I find anarex not bad, sometimes when i have body aches, after taking it and sleep, the next day feel better. That’s why i always keep stock of anarex.

I took anarex for a while last time

while it helps to relax muscles, it also gives me gastric pain

For short term use, naproxen or ibuprofen or aspirin for pain relief, probably not much difference.

But I would avoid aspirin for general use as it has an additional anti-platelet clotting effect.

On the other hand too much blood thinning may have uncontrollable bleeding. Dangerous for people who tend to fall or cut themselves. Head trauma also get brain bleed easier.

My 11.11 hoot. This is currently the hottest running shoe in China. Runners on XiaohongSu, are comparing it to elite super trainers from western brands like the Adida Evo SL, Asics Superblast 2. Total damage was $101. I don't have super trainers to compare with. But taking it out for run yesterday, found this to be a snappy shoe.

You really high risk, even taking statins only cannot prevent stroke and heart attack. Need to add in aspirin.

Thought anti-platelet clotting is to stops blood clots from forming which is good? So that can prevent stroke and heart attack?

I think last time you cannot buy aspirin off the shelves, need to get it from the pharmacist. Then they place aspirin on the shelf and people can buy it freely. Maybe now they revert back to the last time practice.

I think there is a low dose (100mg instead of 500mg) one for this purpose, got to take it daily

when I couldn't find the usual 500mg one for my headache

I saw this on the shelf

bought a box, tried a few tablets, no power

expiring in my medicines box now 😁
