Gunzy 4th Gear May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 So it's choosing between Keppel electric and Tuas Power for taking up 2 years contract 2years? went to the roadshows and don't see any special promo though compared to those online pricing for 2 yrs contract fixed rate, seems that either Geneco or Tuas Power is good... Anyone has Geneco referral code? $78 rebate + $20 (referral code) seems good for the 2 yrs contract at 0.1778 cents compared to Tuas power $80 rebate (can add referral code?) at 0.1798 .....not taking into account credit cards rebate especially true if kwh usage is high Any other inputs from bros before i sign up ↡ Advertisement

I signed with Tuas Power online, done in less than 10 mins. Integrated billing with SP, no need for security deposit, basically it's BAU with a fixed lower price for the next 2 years.

I just signed today so it will show my code not verified yet but not a problem to use. If use OCBC will have extra 40 rebate If I'm not wrong if u utilise the rebate you can't use the referral code. Online have 2 type of code... one is promo code where u put GET78 then u get $78. Then beside the promo have a place for u to put referral code. So if u put my code then will have $20 more. If u sign to pay giro via Ocbc credit card, your card will give u $40 rebate in your bill.

Had just applied Geneco, will see if the referral code will be added in later on.... Tuas Power is good too for the integrated bill but still cannot resist the lower rate from Geneco though Can try my code : 90901830. I had used it for registration and will see if it will be added in later on as currently the account only reflect the GET78 rebate PS: is the referral code your mobile number? if yes you might want to mask it off though... Jamesc Hypersonic May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 Tuas Power and Keppel Electric 24 fixed plan almost the same. $80 rebate 22% discount. Keppel has $15 rebate on OCBC credit card and can charge it to the card to make $500 monthly spend. Tuas is integrated to SP so convenience of one bill payment but cannot be part of monthly card spend.
Othello Supersonic May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 As some bro has shared, the only 3 companies that will not result in 2 bills are Tuas, Best & Ohm. After a quick google, I chose Ohm. Simply becos I dun like Tuas & Best not much of rebates So if anyone needs OHM referral code --> OHMREF65E127

Will be deciding on which one to go for soon and it's between Tuas and iSwitch..

therock Supersonic May 2, 2019 Share May 2, 2019 I guess it's probably Tuas, unless Keppel comes out with something fancy.. My bro in law suggests a longer contract, since the same rates will be retained by SP if the company folds?
Kusje Supersonic May 2, 2019 Share May 2, 2019 I think you'd go back to SP rates.
Jamesc Hypersonic May 2, 2019 Share May 2, 2019 One important thing to note is standard plan. If take non standard plan must read up on all the extra charges and be prepared to pay them. If happen then go ahead.

My bro in law suggests a longer contract, since the same rates will be retained by SP if the company folds? Can't be. If the retailer has folded, it means a lot of its contracts are probably loss making, why would SP take over? Temasek company leh, not some charity.
