Oh Kovan Hawker centre! Then I've actually been there a few years back! Just didn't notice the old interchange.

Hearland mall i rmb it being quite packed on the sun afternoon I was there, yeah that mall looked pretty old

Hahahaha sure, when gonna go Kovan will PM you  [:p]  [laugh]

But the Kovan hawker centre got a few carparks surrounding it. If you'd parked at the one right in front of it (near the florists side), then that's not the old interchange.

The old interchange side is the one in front of the DBS bank that row. So the interchange is betwen this row of old shops, and the community centre that is across the road.

At Kovan, apart from the famous hawker centre (Tony Tan went there during his presidential campaign years ago), there is also a famous beef noodle at a kopi shop at the end of the row of shops (where the DBS is a part of). Always long queue...

Bukit Merah interchange has just upgraded a few years back.

More on the facade.

facade not enough lah. Like those AMK/TP/Serangoon ones, became aircon'ed leh...

Just remembered got one bus model, is the typical bus length, and also has 2 doors, but unlike the typical ones where the front door is in front, and the back door is almost at the middle of the bus, this bus:

- front door is in front

- back door is almost near the end of the bus, with only 2 more seats between the back door and the rear windscreen

dunno still got photos or not.

r u referring to Hino?  cant rem wat model... but I rem css and tibs used to have dis model... quite noisy at the front but the back is quiet

sigh... those days i only recognised brands like mercedes (the sign), volvo, and leyland leh...

But the bus was like... let's say 12 m long.

so from the front, the front door was maybe 20-30 cm from the front windscreen.

(while normal bus, the back door would be at around the 6 m region - in the middle - of the bus)

but this bus' back door was at around the 9-10 m region of the bus, just 2-3 m from the rear windscreen.
