Makes perfect sense. Next robo-delivery for food and parcels. No more menace from the PMD ridden by the grabfoot riders.

in china the robo-delivery is to neighbourhood distribution sites, then still last mile is hand delivered.
So PMD wont go away. Lol nowadays in HDB MSCP upper levels, some companies are already using it to distribute parcels to a local level.

China also has Didi and Meituan food deliverers but I am sure they are not as badly behaved and lawless like our PMD food deliverers.

Have friends from all walks of life, but double middle fingers to those PMD food deliverers. Zero sympathy.

China has 電瓶車culture while we don’t have.

China food delivery ride within their norms.

Depending on area, their norm can be worse than our food delivery.

I know ppl will say how good Shanghai users are

You can consider something like that
Grab: super flexible hours, lots of bonus programs, plus the gov’t now covers fuel, parking & maintenance so you can earn more if you hustle.

Traditional taxi: steadier income, less crazy competition, but you’re stuck with fixed shifts and fewer perks.

Just a general comment:

Grab should be discouraged from their bonus or incentive programs!

No offence if that sounds like let them eat cake...

When you prey on people's greed to earn more incentives, you are basically rewarding unruly driving behaviour + increased congestion of roads due to frequent trips + safety issues because drivers put themselves on the roads without taking a break.

I see all negatives from a social perspective - this needs government to step in.

Because Grab and drivers themselves will not say no to more $.
