Before my 216 GT,

I drove an E60 for 1.5 years.

Before the E60 was the E90 for about 2 years too.

It’s just my humble opinion.

To each his own.

Cornering wise I don’t think 2GT can match E60 80%

So far FWD model at PML I like F39 M sports

The feel is really sharp and nice

But cabin too small

I missed my inline 6 E60

It is so sweet smooth comfortable powerful quiet and well built. :D

WoW bro...you mean 2GT can match 90% of E60 driving feel :a-confused:

I am so surprised [rolleyes]

I will say the 2gt On proper tyres is the best handling mpv. I test drove CarsCars over 6 months and settled for the 2gt. That is 2 yrs ago. Not sure the bar has been changed. But I am confidence it still is the top or at least one of the top 3.

Handling and torque wise the diesel 2gt was the carrot to get itnot for getting It can fit 2 baby seat and a booster in the 2nd row for a mini mpv.

Non of my passenger has ever complained about being a harsh ride even though in 18 inch tyres and msports suspension.

Maybe it was the stock rfts that were bad? Well to each of his own.

I do admit that the sound proofing is not on par with the f10 and g30, but for the price you pay, it is justifiable.

saw the 216i GT FL model @ PML. 5k more than the pre-FL. was offered 151,888k for pre-FL and 156,888k for FL. Trade in for my 3yo after all the offer is $83k - the highest that i have ever got (got a lot of trade-in subsidy). Was quoted 75k by BM about 2 months back then.

Comes with:

5yr warranty

5yrs free servicing

1k insurances subsidy

1k finance subsidy

Solar Film

Advance Car Eye (aka car cam)

All weather mat...

if book now, can get car in Oct.

The above is standard? or can try to get more??

What is the FC like for 216i GT?

Depends on how desperate is the sales. But you are locked in for 2 weeks. So no choice.

Driving feel wise when cornering, I am sure that 2GT cant match F30 or F48 for sure [:)]

To be fair only can compare with F30 318i or F48 s18i [drivingcar] around same price range  [idea]

G30 and F10 is totally different class cant compare at all  [rolleyes]

I have to agree with u. Before my 2gt, I had the e60 for 4.5yrs. When it's time to replace the ride with a 5+2, I couldnt find a ride with handling close to the e60 except the 2gt.

Seem like the 2gt price still quite stubborn after coe has dropped so much from 50k to 30k since 2yrs back

current price is ~154k. They offer very good over trade. ~+10k for used car. => 145k?

That's 145k for the current 2gt vs the 150k for the 2gt diesel 2 yrs ago. I would have expected more reduction considering coe dropped so much.

The numbers add up. The diesel car got 15k Cevs rebate then. Edited by camrysfe

Just one point to take note is that the 2GT sold 2yrs+ back being diesel, had a CEVS rebate of $10k though the COE was higher then so point here is that it’s not really comparable as the present 2GT is petrol with a neutral VES.

OMV maybe different as well. Mine was close to $31k back in Nov 2015.
