Studies show that yoga, despite its low impact activities, has tremendous effects on one’s physical and mental well-being. It increases flexibility, improves muscle strength and tone and maintains good cardiovascular health. Concentration and balance are also on the list, as yoga helps one focus.

Gone are the days when yoga classes are difficult to come by and are expensive. With many yoga studios and instructors already offering their services in Singapore, it won’t be hard to include yoga into your fitness routine. It will also add some variety to your program for better health.

In Singapore, there are more than enough studios where you can get some Zen-inspired exercise for under $25 per session, which usually lasts for 10 to 20 session. Here is our list, although not exhaustive. For more yoga studios options, check our yoga guide.

Supercharged

There are 4 different gyms within a 10 minute walk of where I live.

No doubt Active SG is the best value by far.

I've been a member for nearly 20 years now and the gym has just had all new cardio machines and weight machines as I believe have most of the Active SG gyms.

My gym doesn't look like the one in the photo though but there is talk that we will be moving to new premises in the next 6 months.

Mind you Active SG do seem to waste money.

There is a very big diamond screen now outside the gym advertising stuff.

Since there's this circuit breaker, I haven't been able to go to the gym but I found a product to act as a replacement!

In fact, it has already become like a mini gym for me it's amazing because I can do home workouts with ease.

So basically, I've bought this INNSTAR resistance band from Gymhero.sg after seeing most influencers now using them on their Instagram doing home workouts.

Also, it is so portable that I actually brought it outside my corridor to do some workouts, it was like a portable gym for me.

It looks like this, I've taken this picture from their website.

1440140131_gymheromainproduct.thumb.jpg.da0edee1bc3de5d43267aba20909d667.jpg

But I was skeptical at first because I've bought many different resistance bands online before and they are all in low quality so of course, they snapped...

To my surprise, this INNSTAR Resistance Band is much sturdier than those I've bought before also they have a 1-year guarantee for their products and they have different weights for me to choose from which is great for me!

You can purchase your own INNSTAR Resistance Band training kit here: https://www.gymhero.sg/shop/innstar-resistance-band-training-kit/

The kit comes with a compact travel pouch, a pair of sturdy door anchors, a pair of handles and ankle straps.

For the number of things included I definitely got it at a good price because they are having a 30% Launch Sale Discount right now!! If you want it better grab it now cause it's while stock lasts!

Their Instagram page also shows many different workouts that can be done with their INNSTAR Resistance Band, you can check them out herehttps://www.instagram.com/gymherosg/

Anyone into weight lifting?

How does this happen ?

The heartbeat must have dramatically slowed when exerting so much effort. The blood circulation also slows, little to no oxygen reaches the brain, follow by blackout.

Just like a fully loaded car trying to go up a steep ramp. At level ground you would give the engine much revs. Once it starts climbing the revs will drop and even stall when the load is too much for the engine.
