If soon, they increase to above 150k for 2.0 n that makes me no choice but to put CX5 off my list. I would think the reasonable price is $142k n below. Another way is I will go over to their showroom n put $140k on the table, is either they offer me their sale contract or leave it.

I received an SMS yesterday from the SE...

CX-5 Standard $131K, Premium $139k, Luxury $145k, Super Luxury $150k

That's a big drop in price as compared to their listed price shown in their website. That's to say the sale response is not as good as they expected.

Nah, their listed price is always high..

this I believe is after all discounts

TEK has always been playing this pricing game, price high high but doesn't reflect the real nett price. On the other end, C&C likes list Kia prices after nett off all discounts; which adds back several thousands if a buyer doesn't meet their terms

COE on 20th Oct is $49,189

CX-5 Standard price on 21 Oct is $139,800

COE on 4 Oct is $48,109

CX-5 Standard price on 5 Oct is $139,800

As I have mentioned earlier, COE is down but the price is maintained or even up. They are holding the price quite firmly. But these are just list price before factoring the overtrade and other undisclosed discounts.

I think they probably holding price as the drop is not big, only marginal......are they rest dropping their prices due to this 1k drop?

Wah, you able to predict the 2nd COE bidding results in Oct'17? Should be 19th Oct not 20th Oct.

Anyway based on Mazda SE sms the pricing for CX-5 Standard lowest was after the 1st COE bidding in Sep'17, price of $129,800 after all discount included.

thanks for pointing out my mistake. I will edit my earlier post to prevent confusion.

It should be 20 Sept COE bidding.

September 4 (1st COE bid) list price for standard was $138,800.

9k discount is good.

the lowest price is actually when it was launched at $134,800 (17 July pricelist) with "free" Raffles Plan (guaranteed COE). But I am not sure if all other discounts were given during launch as during that time I was only considering the Harrier.

If I rem correctly, the price pre launch given by the SE was $132,800..... knowing how TEK play around with the numbers, difficult to know what is the nett nett price each round

If Transeurokars fails to meet their sales target, they will be subjected to pressure by Mazda Japan. So the only way is for them to reprice their package to keep up their sales. I still believe they will offer a lower price later on.

They seem to be doing quite well, I think CX-5 will compete with CRV for the "not value for money" model.

I think their sales mainly come from M3. Anyone got insider news on how many CX5 being sold so far?

I own a white car, kind of regretted as white dirty and seen easily. Red is still my favourite for Mazda  [thumbsup]

I think white is good as Long as owner not ultra OCD. It's not as obviously as black in terms or how dirty it actually is, for cars that have not been washed for past 3 weeks and more

Haven’t actually seen a white CX-5 on the road. Mine’s a machine grey and I’ve seen just one other machine grey since I picked up the car in Aug. Then again, I don’t see many CX-5s on the road. Not too popular I guess.
