Short Trip to Cambodia

Arrived at 7.30pm today. Immigration was a breeze, by 8.15pm out here

By 9.30pm sipping my mojito

Entire day was work work and work. Simple lunch with a local at a Caltex station.

Starters - peanuts

Pickled vegetables

Broccoli stir fry

More vegetables - pak choy

Ginger chicken

Soup (similar to Thai tomyam)

As you can see Cambodian food is not very appealing. Taste wise its also not so nice. So far this is my 3rd trip and I have to say Cambodian food is definitely not so nice.

Got back to hotel have a local bringing me for a walk around and dinner so here are some photos of the around the hotel

First had a drink at this bar

Passed by a very crowded Cambodian noodle stall

Had only 2 spoons and stopped, very not use to it. Sad.

Finally had to eat at an Indian restaurant just next to the hotel

Dosa or thosai

Chicken biryani

Fish

Mutton curry (ordered 2)

Had a great meal all 3 of us cost of the above (with 3 Indian tea) is US$44 not so bad
