Same for me, I am the type that must doodle or write , pen on paper , then I retain the information better than through typing.

I mostly use evernote when I'm taking notes on what i read cos of convenience.

But if i want to do some serious thinking or strategizing, then i'll use pen and paper [nod]

My children have regular appointments with the eye centre for myopia.  We are on subsidize rate, so each time is different eye specialist. But the common advice they give is to spend more times outdoor. The sunlight is good for the eyes. So I think is most don't get enough outdoor sunlight.

i was wearing glasses when i was 4. My girl is in P2 this year and still don't have to wear yet.
But my wife is very on about myopia prevention. When they use any screen at home, my wife sets 30mins timer and will get them to stand at the end of the hallway and count numbers with her on the other side for them to look at things further away.

Last time era if your wear glasses on very young age means you either is a bookworm or study a lot? But for young generation now, wearing glasses even before going to school is common.

Yeah bookworm. I been reading since i was very young. Not really an outdoor person.

My kids are both ok with indoors and outdoors. We try to make sure that most days have outdoor time within reason.

Do write your notes if you are learning something new. I won't say for everybody, but there's some evidence that u use different parts of your brain when u write vs u type.

Yup, I write my notes only. But now writing it digitally.

I cant type fast. I am the two finger typing type. One finger each hand and must look at keyboard to type. :XD:

So the analogy is somehow correct for last time era kids lo. I only wear glasses when i was 18, mainly cause i dont like to read books, dont like to study and also dont play computer games due to no money to buy computer. So i go outside to play a lot. [laugh]

Dun tink so. Some sg schools are under the Microsoft Future Schools programme and each student carries a Microsoft Surface Pro. They still hv to lug heavy books to skool.

Maybe use it to prop up the tablet......lol

Ya lor... My kids bring learning device to school. No schoolbag weight reduction. In fact I worry cos they squeeze the ld between books in their bags.

Smth like this. then the graphic inside will go near and far, and you need to focus to see it as sharp as possible.

I purposely make spoilt so i no need to do. In the end, I am on my specs 24/7. 😂

I still think they should keep their options for the hardware. Not all parents are well-to-do.

Imagine the family got 4 kids and every single year, you need to buy one tablet, then by the time you finish buying, your first child tells you his tablet used 4 years le. Spoilt le. jialat.
