Bullying in a Pri School in Punggol

Pretty sad for a girl to be bullied to this extent.

School should at least have let her switch classes.

Mee Toh is a popular school among chinese ethnicity parents cos of it's strong value system and buddhist background (though academically average).

what is more disturbing is the teachers and principal took lightly of it and from teh tweets, even TCJ said NOT to raise a ruckus

Yes difficult to eradicate. Especially among girls who like to do these type of social bullying. HIgh change the messages are from girls. Boys tend to use verbal abuse or physical bullying.

I genuinely think racism is real in schools and army.

The victims should escalate such bullying to the principals and MOE. There must be a framework and related procedures to deal with these grievances, and if not, establish them. This is year 2020....

Have to monitor the victim also. If she is imbalance and inferior, She will need to seek counselling. I hope she is strong enough to pull this through.

For those bullies, I doubt there is much action can be made. Especially parents these days. They will step in and protect their child.

If I were the discipline master of the school, I will make all of them join Malay cultural dance, they have to attend malay lesson during their remedial lesson. And let them have a taste of how it feels like to be a minority in the group.

also happen in all the elite schools, pri, sec or even jc.

anyway this case is quite mild compared to other serious case that went unreported, also social media can blow things up easily.
