China OEM ones. have to be wary of fake specs in this case

They can modify the bios to show different specs.

This one is with i7-7500U, a 2016 7th gen cpu, the laopokai lappy I am typing on now is 8th gen. :D

I kinda suspect it is old spare/refurbished motherboard with new exterior shell, how else one can sell at such low price with the recent spike on ram and storage price,

If the spec is as stated, it is good, games need to see what games.

My wife is using one similar spec asus zenbook, still good for her online shopping + chatting + miscellaneous stuffs. :D

Yah...read all comments...macam they profile buyers then send accordingly...I'd have it send to a local residential address then reroute to the hotel...then see how...a bit mafun with the claim tho saferer...

Radx way of getting proven used set also safe...at least also got buyer protection...😁

all this cpu generations with deliberately confusing naming conventions (both intel and amd) are way too confusing. I don't bother to keep track anymore.

Integrated water cooling sure will fail one. But probably ok for first few years.

I kinda tempted to order one with 2TB ssd too, cause a 2TB ssd already selling like $300+ outside, anything no good just stripe the ssd put into my other laptops as upgrade.  :D

Back then I took a chance with Aftershock (basically the equivalent of Prism) and remarkably the laptop has lasted ten years. When one of the cooling fans suffered a worn out bearing and started squealing like a stuck pig, their repair shop said sorry your laptop is too old we don’t stock parts for it anymore but fortunately I could still find the fan on Taobao

I had driver issues and post windows updates with mine.

It's still working. But PITA. So no thanks. PC Aftershock is fine. Laptop nah.

Oh yah I am facing software related obsolescence with mine. Even though it was a high end desktop replacement gaming laptop it cannot take the latest window version so I’m being forced to look for a replacement but at my age I like the big screen and big screen laptops are few and far between and invariably expensive these days

Latest windows on ageing hardware? can one, radx has done so, google how to install win11 without secured boot and tpm, good for most usage unless your uses specifically requires tpm like some security encryption thingies. :D
