To ensure smooth running of the sessions, all respondents are required to attend a short testing on their Zoom App, few days for about 10mins

On the ACTUAL DAY OF THE FOCUS GROUP, ALL respondents are required to login in 15mins before the start time.

Some survey quite legit one.

I got once did a survey for a beer company. blind tasting their upcoming beer. Can drink and get paid. I remb I was paid $70. Not too bad to drink in the hot afternoon. hahah.

Paid surveys are normal industry practice. Others will give vouchers. Otherwise, SGreans will not participate.

i think it also depends on where did you find these surveys. Usually if through SMS/whats app is fake. 

If the person sending is not local phone number then confirm fake.

But this survey need 2hrs of my time. I only do those 5 min survey win $10 voucher

I've did some surveys n it's not really difficult n they are genuine. I've even done a mystery shopper survey on an AD about sales experience. 

To each his own I suppose if u are concerned on privacy issues. I only respond to companies who I've done surveys for before n even for these, when I first got to know them, I made sure i went down to size them out that they were genuine survey firms. Of course, I can't be sure they don't sell my personal data away but being professional survey firms, I trust they will not do so.

Actually if privacy is a concern, there are many things you will not be able to participate in including lucky draws etc

Some are legit, but usually they only require you to fill in BASIC information. other more details they will qualify you over a short telephone "interview" to see whether or not you are eligible
