Where to park the car from starting point? I entered from the open area opposite Ngee Ann Poly, via the track on the left hand side of the canal. I am not sure if there are more wetland further in the forest, but those photos I posted were taken along the track by the side of the water way, about 300m from the entrance. I park at King Albert Park, along the small road within the private estate. You can also park at Ngee Ann Poly, provided they are now open to public on weekend. Unisim carpark is closed to public for now.
Fcw75 Hypersonic March 20, 2021 Share March 20, 2021 (edited) Actually don’t drive is the best. Just alight at the bus stop opposite Maju Camp and you are set to go. The entrance is behind the bus stop. Bring a stick if possible or use a big tree branch for support. That time I keh kiang rejected a kind fellow hiker who wanted to pass me her tree branch, totally regret after that. Inside is damn muddy. If want to venture deep inside clementi forest, then start from the entrance behind the bus stop opposite Maju Camp? If just want to see look see look like @Carbon82 then dont start from Maju Camp?

I suppose got a few entrances since it’s a forest. The long green line next to the blue dot where I was at is the Green Corridor. Many people walking and cycling there.

Didu Turbocharged March 22, 2021 Share March 22, 2021 Central stretch of Rail Corridor reopens with new features for better accessibility A central stretch of the Rail Corridor officially reopened on Monday (Mar 22), featuring restored landmark bridges and elements such as new entry points and a pedestrian underpass. The enhancement works along the 4km stretch – which runs between Hillview and King Albert Park MRT stations on the Downtown Line – make the area more inclusive and accessible, said the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and National Parks Board (NParks) in a media release. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/rail-corridor-central-reopens-new-entry-points-bridge-14462472

Which is more harmful for the rare plant, bird and animal species at Clementi Forest? 1) Clearing the forest for future development? 2) Growing number of hikers visiting the forest? If the relevant authorities are so concern about the environmental aspect, shouldn't they rethink about conserving the last few pieces of green land on our shore?! I hate hypocrite... 10
