Thanks bro. Is this type with external antenna better than those portable ones without? In terms of signal strength....

Generally more and bigger antenna will have better range coverage.  Small portable ones range are more like phone hotspots.

Ok glad to know that - but funny thing is my son Oppo Reno 7Z -  we tried a few times go in JB - signal sure stuck at 3G max. IN Spore ok de. Full 5G signal. Its ok, gonna switch his sim card to RedOne this weekend!!!

Is there a setting on the phone you can try ?

Remove 5G battery saver or set to 4G, reboot and see what you get ?

Mesh still better for coverage if you don’t need the speed.
but yes, antenna sticking out always better. Bigger also better.

I've not used this model before, but setup should be similar to most WiFi routers.  Just that this also supports 4g SIM as the data connection to WAN.

in the end whats the point of 100GB vs 200 vs 300. as if can finish. more importantly for me is coverage and stability of network.

Operators dun publish stats on up/down time, blind spots, etc but mostly with $$$ u get this and that...Most consumers look at the numbers and $$$ to determine whether to buy or not. So with this $, I get more, why not?

applicable to existing customers also, that's the good thing unlike other telco need to port out and back.

If mobile signal is good then should be stable.  But 4g bandwidth wise probably not enough for multiple devices to be streaming concurrently.  So likely can consider for light users like singles or couples.
