Yes I read they are determined to win UCL esp as their fellow Arab owned Man City have similar ambition. PSG feel their MNM front 3 will give them the extra edge but for almost 200mil, it’s crazy!

Yes I’m also worried for Gunners cos such a historically proud n successful team deserves better. Arteta like Lampard n even Ole not experienced enough to handle top teams. They don’t hv the guile n tactical nous which only experienced Mgrs hv. Sad to see Arsenal targeting to survive when they shld be battling for European qualification at the very least.

psg got max point so far. but i dun rate them even among top 3 to win the UCL base on the performance so far

They hv improved their defence with the signing of Donnarumma (who has been a sub so far😄), Hakimi and Ramos so they will be challengers for sure. Whether they will actually win the UCL is ? Cos as we all know, the UCL winners is not necessarily the best team.

Qatar vs UAE owners will be interesting! Besides these 2, I’m tipping the other 3 English teams plus Bayern to be the likely winners. 1 of these 6 unless a dark horse pops up?

PSG even without Mbappe shld comfortably reach q/Finals at the very least so how much more can they make to be winners. Anyway its not about $ for them but face. UCL is the biggest prize in club football and the Arabs will give anything to win it. Roman also damn “gian’ this trophy for many years till Chelsea finally won it in 2012 n last year. Almost all the Brazilian EPL players banned from playing this weekend bar Richarlison. Thiago Silva and Fred will also miss their teams opening UCL game on Tuesday. City n Pool play UCL on Wednesday so their Brazilians will be allowed to play as the ban ends on Tuesday night.

City worst hit as with Ederson out n 2nd choice Zack Steffen also out with Covid, 36yr old former England International Scott Carson will be their goalie!

Countries can ask FIFA to impose a 5 day playing ban on clubs who refuse to let their players play for their country. Brazil went ahead with this. I’m not sure what the other South American countries will do like Uruguay(Cavani). Richarlison escaped cos Brazilian FA acknowledged Everton’s co-operation in letting him play at both the Olympics and the Copa so he was excused from the WC qualifiers.

He used to be good otherwise he wont hv been an England Intl but he is really rusty. Last season City allowed him to play one game after they wrapped up the title and he promptly went on to let in 3 goals at Newcastle though City eventually won 4-3 but he did save a penalty but let in the rebound. Personally, I don’t like playing a goalie who is “cold” but I suppose most 3rd choice goalies face the same issue.
