just to highlight the confusing offside rules. where linesman are to let game flow if its a very close call

cr7 is way off side during extra time. but lineman didnt flag and let game flow. i understand they dun want too many delay. 

but something is wrong if they dun flag for obvious offside and still manage to give a corner for it..

they really need to tweak on this rule.

It was not called offside cos it was last played off a Chelsea defender? ie deflected off a Chelsea player n into the path of CR7 hence no offside called?

I saw it as Wan Bissaka kicking the heel of Silva though his intention was to kick the ball away but Silva’s foot reached the ball first hence contact was made n a clear penalty to me, not even 50/50 but that’s my view.

i think we learn 1 mistake, never put jorginho as last man, kante normally take that position. jorginho have a habit to die die dun clear the ball. even under extremely pressure. during lampa time he gifted a few goals by losing ball in our half cos he die die want to pass..........

It’s not ref don’t want to see VAR but the VAR ref didn’t recommend him to review since it’s so clear cut. Anyway, Anthony Taylor well known for giving decisions against Chelsea till the Blues fans campaigned against him refereeing Chelsea games but of course to no avail. He sent off Kovacic in the 2020 FA Cup Final v Arsenal which replays showed was wrong as Kovacic won the ball but VAR couldn’t intervene as it was a second yellow card (yellow cards not subject to VAR review)

All teams hv a ref perceived to be always against them. Howard Webb was well known for being pro Man United. We will nvr be able to prove these kind of allegations.

Timo was not fully match fit according to Tuchel n so too Lukaku whilst Havertz just recovered from injury but no excuses as u play with the cards dealt to u as injuries are part n parcel of the game.

Jorginho I’ve nvr fancied though many experts believe he is good till they voted for him in the Balon d’or. He is unlikely to win it but the fact that he could get on the shortlist is a miracle as far as I’m concerned. U r right he just doesnt want to kick the ball away n feels like its a crime to do so. That’s why he insisted on controlling the ball in such a situation.

Situation at the top of the table is now really tight so whoever gets on a consistent run of wins might start to pull clear. City has a habit of doing this once they get onto their stride so to me they are the slight favourites though Pool n Chelsea will disagree.

I think Jorginho is an attacking midfielder and Kante is a defensive midfielder but Chelsea like to play Jorginho as the defensive midfielder and Kante as the attacking midfielder.

how long before kloop manage to drill those super intense and high line pressing style into pools. 

first thing man u need to up is their fitness, not by 1, but by at least 2 level.
