Steve Bruce next game will be his 1,000 as a manager.

Please don't sack him now!

:D

1,000 games is really a milestone as each season even the top clubs play at most 60 games so this means he will hv to be in Mgmt for close to 20 seasons n bearing in mind the clubs he manage are normally not competing in Europe hence will hv lesser games.

must look below the surface. current news is 2 spurs first team player kenna positive. they got train with the main team pior to that.

and those players are going to play against newcastle.  😐

imagine newcastle first team players also kenna contacted.  their squad depth not exactly strong at the moment,

the good thing from newcastle is i didnt see any knee jerk reaction from the board despite a big boss coming in.

Brentford is no easy meat.

Chelsea almost  阴沟里翻船.  Very lucky to get all 3 points. 😅

Their long ball all out attack and direct style is so so good.

It is true Chelsea got lucky towards the end. It was also due to the excellent Mendy as well that they got the 3 pts. That said, Brentford were only good towards the last 20mins or so when they threw everything at the Blues. They didn’t hv a single shot on target till then and then they had 10 on target after that. For their endeavour n effort, I suppose they deserve a point.

Didn’t help that Chelsea fielded debutant Sarr in defence n together with Chalobah, it was an inexperienced back 3. The mark of Champions is being able to get 3 pts when not playing well n Chelsea showed that but based on fluidity of play n attacking quality, I still think City n Pool just a shade better but it will be close n as always injuries, consistency, tactical nous will determine the Champion. Shaping into an exciting race for the title.

Man United seem to be falling back in the race so looks like the 4 favourites becoming 3?

chelsea playing lukaku like a target man. if play this way might as well dun buy him. abraham and giroud can do the same task.

lukaku got speed and str, when break away, chelsea didnt feed him directly . didnt make full use of lukaku at all.......

sarr is ok. but he short. lost some header. he can improve on his forward passing abit. otherwise not a bad start

I wonder who will tio pok first?

maguire look like a 90m phil jones. ole say he dun have much training. but i think no excuse.

and he cannot be cpt. cannot lead the team at all. no influence over the players. i still remember the video where rashford quarrel with him.

man u play like 4.1.4.1   only 4 def and matic is helping with the def. the other 4 plus cr7 interested in scoring goals themself only. esp greenwood, despite scoring 1 good goal. the more i see him play, the more i feel he too damn selfish.

Man U probably have to fight for 4th place

sancho/lingard  r wing and rasford left wing, and get VBD in midfield

they need to show more fight in them
