Truth is that a strong mother figure is more important than a father figure in the stability of young kids growing up.

There is a downside to a strong mother figure. 

Lee Hom was brought up with a strong mother figure.

Lee Hom made all the decisions on his behalf to the extent of who he can get married with (hearsay).

Hopefully, Lee Hom ex-wife learns to let go when time comes.

Otherwise, history will repeat itself.

that's Leehom's upbringing background not the wife, her upbringing is more independent type.

Talking about the youngsters of China, sidetrack a bit, theres a nice movie of boomers vs millenials. 
it may seem like a slow boring show with not too much action but i recommend anyone 45 and above to watch it. 
Good movie. (Of course the young actor Kris Wu also got into trouble in real life ) 😎

I have a fairly dominating mother also. Created some problems in the earlier years. But ok lah, people can mellow with age.
