wah ... so serious ... found guilty .... must punish liao

red bull going to appeal. so its gonna drag on a bit more.

but this being first year and FIA known for making fuzzy rules, think will not be a big punishment.

ya, but F1 is a business too. fans may get angry if punish World Champion too hard.

recall few years back Ferrari also had some fuel related issue, end up also quietly settle.

These are available penalties:

  • A fine - financial penalty to be determined on a case-by-case basis
  • Public Reprimand
  • Deduction of Constructors' Championship points
  • Deduction of Drivers' Championship points
  • Suspension from one or more stage of a season (such as qualifying, but excluding the race)
  • Aerodynamic testing capability reduced
  • Reduction in future cost cap limit.

I like Aero testing capability reduced.

The ideal punishment would be either a points deduction or championship removal from 2021 as they spent far too much..... that would balance out "issues" from last year also. A fair fix now that Max has won his first title.

the fact that the audit findings were delayed a few times means FIA themselves also a bit not sure.

and Horner and team are also seasoned veterans in the business.

so we just watch and jiak popcorn.

#lewiswasrobbed .... wahahahahaha ...

The potential punishment is still available even at lower infraction levels...... I can live in hope.

I am looking forward to next year’s Singapore GP. Reckon it will get even better than this year’s. I have been to every single race since the beginning, except for a couple of years when I was living overseas.
