Very compelling. While it's the 737NG in this Malaysia Airlines incident, but lots of issues going on in the Boeing factory/assembly plants over the past years Saw this documentary before. Apparently, it was the long-standing culture of safety and engineering first at Boeing which has been sacrificed for faster time to market to beat Airbus, enhanced profitability by cutting corners and they even told airline companies initially that they don't even need to send their pilots for simulator training with 737 MAX. With manufacturer saying no need for simulator training, it means less costs to the airlines and thus they bought the 737 MAX. Thus, when the sensors went haywire, leading the aircraft to automatically nose dive by programming (the aircraft will do this to prevent stalling when nose is pointed up), the poor pilots who died don't even know the 737 was programmed this way as they didn't know about the feature. Whistle blowers and many long time employees within Boeing were simply asked to shut up and leave whenever concerns are raised. The change of culture happened due to a change of management (Boeing merger with McDonnell Douglas). Boeing totally deserved what's coming, but can't say the same to those unfortunate who perished.

Or maybe there's something wrong with the earth's core and soon we'll have birds and planes falling. Just watched The Core on Netflix. 😅 The article mentioned altitude dropped from 31,000 ft to 24,000 ft... (which does not match the chart) From the chart, there is a dip of ard 3,000 ft from 24,800 to 21,000 at ard 7:05am.. Thereafter, the pilot recovered and ascended to 31,000 ft, but subsequently descended to 12,400 ft for return to airport... Possibly due to air turbulence than aircraft fault. Perhaps pilots here could contribute...

Didu Turbocharged April 6, 2022 Share April 6, 2022 Aircraft drop during flight thru turbulence is quite common. Those who do bungee jumps will tell you such weightless feeling is normal. In fact the airline do not charge their passengers extra for the add-on experience. You got go Sentosa to check out how much it cost per jump boh?
