Bookmarked to view the video another time. Wonder will it show the famous wanton noodle stall stall that open at 10.30pm - 3am? really old school type. Not much publicity but waiting time can be as long as 1hr plus which I have encountered before. Usually will ask what time can be ready then order and come back again to collect.

What I was told they always have pre orders in the tens from night shift workers, factories etc, one of the better wanton mee around but whether can justify the long wait time -  https://tnp.straitstimes.com/news/singapore/customer-smashes-stall-after-waiting-15-minutes-noodles

There's another super popular midnight supper spot, this one worse with the crazy and messy Q, really many night owls foodies around 🤣

Eunos Market Stallowner Prepares 500 Food Packs to Give to the Needy But Kiasu People Queued Twice Instead

The kiasuism is not the main issue. If a person who is less priviledge decides to re-queue to get another packet to feed his hungry family, I think I can understand that.

The main issue however is that some people who queue for these things are people who could jolly well afford it, but they still want it because it is free.

They don't care if it was meant for the less priviledge. They don't care the fact that by taking,  it simply means one less packet goes to the people and the children who truly needs it.

Not having the compassion for the less fortunate is worse in my opinion.

Too hot to handle: Diner forks out $26 for mala bowl at Food Republic

1. food republic is known to be expensive.

2. mala pot is known to be expensive.

1+2 = order mala pot at food republic is expected to be bloody expensive (怕贵就不要叫)

if want cheap, go coffee shop. I usually order 3 pax portion for about or less than $26 (with lots of meat).

Well said 👍🏻 totally agree, but reality of life is such, if only more can show empathy and have consideration for others ...

Example, when Q-ing buy food got one auntie in front money no enough to pay, i just top up the few bucks for her no biggie, or when see blind person trying to exit mrt station, most will just walk on by but i always offer my assist lead them to their destination.

My motto is kindness for others, little to no effort on my part but could mean huge to those who receive. Whenever a situation arise, put myself in that person shoes see from their perspective. Imagine just close eyes try to exit mrt station see how many things will bump into, simple things we take for granted, may pose a hurdle for others.

If more can just do their little part, but more importantly, dun talk the talk ... walk it 🙂
