EVs are very heavy, most of the time around 2T or more 

got to make sure aftermarket wheels can tahan that kind of load

Most Good Forged Wheel Brands like BBS,RAYS & OZ can stand the Weight...only the Tyres must have Higher Load Index.

yeah, unless reputable aftermarket wheels that meet TUV, JWL standards 

if chapalang clones, bigger size, thinner spokes, the risk is higher for EVs because of the weight

Actually I find most of the EV rims rather ugly, especially those with the plastic cover.

The original Estima rim look so much better to me.

EV Wheels more Aerodynamic,EVs used Re-Gen as part of Braking,so no need Disc Cooling.

I have seen PHV Wish, Sienta on Rays and Oz rims. Some people really sayang their daily beaters.

The Japanese are quite the odd one out from a cultural pov.

They have a proactive stance towards self-care and pride in their domestic products, sometimes disproportionately.

My first car was a new Jap sedan and I wiped it clean with tissue and wet fingertip almost daily, during first few months of ownership. I do take care of own things.

But I never spent on RAYS or Enkei or Brembo 6 pots for it, because, it is what it is - just a B&B car.
