I think despite ATH US equity market, the underlying US economy is weak and inflation is much higher than what the CPI data are saying.  That may be why the democrats are winning in NY, NJ, Virginia (California will always vote Democrats), the party was focusing intensely on the economy and cost of living issues.

I find that a bit sarcastic, I think the obesity problem is more than just taking these pills can work, 治标不治本。

Yes. it may seem like a band aid. but it's a band aid that many people need.
Cos reducing the obesity problem have to fix a huge cultural issue and also all the other massive social/infrastructural problems involved (urban planning centered around cars, ultra processed foods, long hours needed to pay the bills for most blue and white collar workers etc).

And the trend towards convenience is also irreversible.

Absolutely.

Unfortunately, as the economy worsens people are only able to afford this cheaper option. Actually, we see the same thing happening here already in Singapore with processed food sales increasing as hawker food gets more expensive. Not saying hawker food is healthy but compared to processed food.........

How can process be cheaper than unprocessed food?

Where can find cooked rice cheaper than raw rice?

Uncooked food is always cheaper the only problem is have to cook it yourself. 

And Americans are fat and lazy.

And if they are not why need to lower price of weight loss drugs?
