Collected my denza today! Loving the drive so far. One interesting feature is that the car allows you to project android auto Google maps onto the instrumental panel! Very useful. The cars I drove previously only allows you to display map on the digital panel when using their built in navigation.

My SE told me that they are selling the roof TV as an add on at around 2k. Anyone will be interested? Maybe can do a group buy and ask for more discount. Taobao selling for 600 dollars but unless it's installed by AD, could potentially void warranty.

@too204 Welcoming a fellow D9 owner! Any chance your car is grey? Seems like the overwhelming colour of choice is grey as evidenced from the D9s I see plying our roads.

For Android Auto, are you using the wireless or wired connection? The wireless Android Auto doesn't work on my D9, have to delete the phone and reconnect every time. Only the wired works.

Yes, my SA told me that the TV (can support Youtube/Netflix) should be available soon for $2000. Quite a hefty sum to pay, but this added touch of amenity will certainly make the D9 a very complete package. If there is a group buy where we can get it at a lower price, I am certainly up for it. And yes, given the 10-years warranty/maintenance, need to suck thumb and do all 'modifications' at Denza.

@Chipsahoy8919 I chose black. I'm using wireless connection, very seamless. Did u try testing with other phone models?

Great! Once the TV is officially available I'll gather interest 🙂

@Chipsahoy8919 if I want to stop and disconnect the home charger, do you know how to end the charge on the Denza? What I did was press the unlock button twice and then pull out the charger...which cause an error on the charger side.

Edit. You need to end the charge from the wallbox (charger end).

I just received an update notice on the D9 Infotainment Screen.  It displayed Software Version Upgrade.  Not sure it is just for the Infotainment System or for the car software.  Will try it this afternoon when I am at a open location.    My 1st time charging the D9 with SP and Eco Charge at my carpark and it was seamless.  Currently D9 owners are given a 20% discount for their choice of charging companies for 3 yrs and I have chosen SP.  At a charging rate of 53 cents after the 20% discount, it was a good deal.  I have yet to try a fast DC charger though.

@too204 GXGX.  Hope you are enjoying your new D9 as much as I did.  Btw, are you getting Lane Keeping for the ICC from your D9?  Mine still does not have Lane Keeping.  According to the SA, I should be getting that in the next OTA update which I will try today.

@too204 Yes, one would need to tap on the Charger App or the service provider App to 'stop charging' and then unlock the D9 to remove the charger once you are done with charging. I don't think there is an option in the D9 to manually stop charging at any point in time (therefore the ability to cease charging is always via the charger's App) as it will always charge to 100% (unless you set it to a lower %) and just stopped by itself once it reaches 100%. The BYD/Denza App will also send you a notification that charging has stopped as it had reached 100%.

This is the way I conduct my charging on the D9.

Side note: For owners who are worried about the battery % dropping by itself spontaneously when the car is parked/unused for >1 week, happy to report that the SOC (state of charge) remained exactly the same when the D9 was unused for this period of time.

@Annapurna Didn't receive notification to update on my D9 thus I guess your version is the most updated one.

EV owners are probably the only ones cursing and swearing when it comes to 'refueling' in Malaysia as it costs more to charge an EV in Malaysia as compared to Singapore (at least that's my experience with the DC fast charger in Malaysia), no savings to be reaped at all using the D9 for 'petrol runs' in Malaysia.

@Annapurna yes definitely enjoying the ride, getting used to the more bouncy suspension haha. Also busy shopping for accessories on taobao.

my current SW version only have adaptive cruise control, haven't received any notification for new updates. Maybe I will check with SE during the 5k service.

Those Denza owners, what made you choose the D9 over a Zeekr 009?

Zeekr is another 25% leh. More like 400k rather than 300.

see the earlier posts in the thread? I think a few of us shared the rationale between d9, x9 and 009.

@Chipsahoy8919 You are right, the system told me my app is the latest version - V1.2.1.  Looks like I have to wait again. Btw, how much is the charging rate in Malaysia?  I am surprised it is not cheaper from the usual 98 petrol price.
