Cannot find any good overseas reviews on Tourador & BlackHawk.

Giti reviews are not bad.

They are all made OEM by some china tyre company. Logo is provided by customer.

It would also be interested to hear domestic views on China tyres. Like asking friends who lives in China their own views.

Of course luxury cars will still choose PS4/5, Pirellis, Turanza and MaxConnect. But has Chinese tyres overtaken Falken, Toyo, hankook domestically?

Here in sg, I can say that Giti is getting very popular and definitely a direct substitute.

if you drive 80km/h at highway and 50km/h on normal road kind, any tyres is a good tyre. It is within the tolerance range that the tyres can perform. Good tyres push abit of the driver limit to give the driver more confidence in extreme driving.

really depends on the driver and the car. if the driver driving a honda jazz and put on PS5 don't expect the car can corner like GT3 RS also lah. every car is designed differently.

My take is this for tyre purchase, you must know what you want the most firstly. Comfort or performance, then set a budget, give a buffer of 10%, if there is a tyres model that fits the bill, then go for it. No need to fixate on one brand or one type of tyres. you might change tyres sooner than you think you will.

Agreed.

Can go any HDB mscp and a lot of B&B cars on PS4 and MaxContact.

Actually I can understand why they do. I used to think, why bother doing that and even putting bbk on these cars.

But as a daily driver seeing the antics of other road users, sharp steering and e brakes are a daily affair. Every single day sure got some PHV or P plate cut in front of you...

i will always take good tires. I tried shitty westlake tires once cause it came on the used car i bought. was ok. but certainly cannot compare to better tires. you get what you pay for. Given that the 4pcs or rubber are critical for accident avoidance and safety, i never stinge on tires anymore.
