If you were coach playing against Liverpool what would you do?

Gakpo will cut inside and shoot with his right foot. Just block him.

Salg will cut inside and shoot with his left foot. Just block him.

Gakpo and Salah are both not going to go outside and cross so no need to even mark Isak.

When Slot played Isak and Ekitike as 2 centre forward Salah and Gakpo never cross to them.

We need a TAA type player to cross and long pass.

Add another dimension to our attack.

He had lost the plot since Jan 2025. He had lost the dressing room this season.

A team that need their captain to galvanised with a dressing room (Recent VVD meeting) mean the team has lost confidence in the coach (manager).

Hmm...is there a poll function we can put in this thread? Would be interested to know how fans (at least those here) feels.

For me, I feel he lost it. And FSG must decide whether they want to be in the CL or not. He would not be able to fix the problem this season. But something can be done to cut the vicious cycle.

You need Diaz for isak to be lethal. KK to certain extent can be the crosser if not for gakpo that always cut in and won't pass.

All correct ... But must add Isak has no individual brilliance, so no need to man mark.

I am not calling for Slot to go yet, but yesterday’s result is making me leaning  towards that direction

It is totally unacceptable to lose 0-3 at Anfield to a team that was just floating around the relegation zone weeks ago.  If lose by one goal can say unlucky, but at 0-3, there is no excuse  

And not forgetting that one of Forrest goal was called off which was really marginal in my opinion  

Hope he can turn it around quickly.

Hiw can he lose to the worse team in the PL?

Losing 6 out of 7 games only beating Aston Villa?

It's massively frustrating. It's not just the defeats but the manner in which those defeats came about. I don't have a UEFA Coaching licence but could tell some glaring issues in terms of squad selection. It's still not too late to turn around but we need results real quick. This UCL game could offer some respite but the trip to London this weekend could be tricky. Time is running out but I remain optimistic. YNWA

Let hypothesis. Taking away all the incoming players this season. The backbone of last season team still exist. We wouldn't and shouldn't be so bad. The game with last season team should be able to churn out results.

Recent matches I don't the fire, fighting spirit. No more arguments on the pitch. It seem like the players have resigned and accepted the conundrum. 

Is up to slot to reignite the players. Failed in doing so, slot must go.

Klopp would never be back because he had disagreements with Edwards who is the GM now. Edwards left after internal powers sided with Klopp.

And it was also the reason why the entire backroom choose to leave knowing Edwards was returning.
