wow reef tank, been to iwarna aquafarm who specialises in marine. You can try there. They offer plug and play reef tank with protein skimmer. One thing about reef tanks, you need to get the water directly from the farm🤣

Just curious,  can take jerry cans go beach collect directly from source?

Can. But you need to do a lot of work. Include filtering the collected water.

I am having a 2ft marine fish only tank for ages. My clownfish is at least 8 years old. The other striped damsel at least 7 years old.

No protein skimmer, no chiller and no special lights. Just regular 3 monthly water change with self mixed marine salt. Feeding them only Tetra Complete Bits.

Only for corals. They also need special lights and liquid food. Too much work for corals. Fish only very easy.

Sure. do share a video of your tank if possible. Didn't know the fish can survive so long.

No video. Photos of my tank. The clown fish is shy, always hiding in the rock. Only feeding time then come out.

Maybe can do away with chiller, but a skimmer may still be needed. In general, marine tank tend to have more equipment needs than a fresh water tank.

They can live 12 years or so in aquarium setting. They do not recognise me. Only recognise the feeding timing. When it's about time for feeding, they swim below the blue square ring and wait for their pallet food.

These fishes do not look up in nature for food. But these two are so conditioned to do so.

True. When I bothered to feed them by hand from young, they will come to me whenever I approached the pond. They would eat from my hand, and allow me to stroke their bodies. Others come, they will stay away. Subsequent batches I got lazy. They were fed by scattering the pellets. And I became just another person to be wary of.
