hehe, i park about a metre from the wall, measure the height from the floor to my light bulb, measure on the wall, draw a marking 3 inch below the height of my light bulb. not sure correct or not, but when i drive, i observe my light beam is pretty straight, with a slight dip. [;)]

i focus the most intense spot to the marking

where can i find the "screws" to make the adjustment?! [sweatdrop]

watch our for alighning too high coz you may blind other drivers and also not get enough light on the ground. for e.g. i adjusted my high beams to abt 1m off the ground (on the wall that was 1.5m in front of me). ended up shining my light on the tops of trees 1km away but no light on the road [laugh]

Honestly i dont know. I do it by trial and error till my headlight cast a good throw wothout blinding others... i find that 1-2m from the wall seems to be the easiest to work with though

not sure ... but i was standing there looking at the numbers and it seems that the nos for the right beam differ quite a lot from the left beam.

so perhaps 1 side is not alignmet properly to give them min require throw, so fail.

this is just my guess. i didnt see the result slip until i got back home, so i couldnt ask them why fail.

when they say "ok, pass" ...i happy pun pi pi take cert go home [laugh]

This is how I adjust my headlights.

Find a very dark & flat road. Some ulu carparks r good.

Cover 1 side & adjust till u can just see the top of the beam touch the road in the distance. Then do the same for the other side.

Now walk in front as though u r an oncoming driver & see if your headlights blind you. Make minor adjustments if necessary & there u r done.

Maximum throw without annoying on-coming drivers.

Remember to adjust the beam slightly to the left cos u want to see the left side of the road clearly.
