Actually a stint of high speed driving along the NS highway is very therapeutic for the engine. Clears the carbon and the car will feel a lot smoother. We call it the Italian tune-up!

 

Actually I don't check my car after my trips up north as there's actually no such need, unless there's something wrong detected. I do regular self checks regardless of where I go. Early morning drives is the best as traffic is light and the air is cool. Cruise between 150 to 180. Can have breakfast at KL.

Depending on whether your car is FWD or RWD. The driving wheels will wear out the tyres faster. Its OK to have 2 different set of tyres (simialr front and similar back tyres), but its a bit noisier I think. But for safety reasons, do not have different tyres on each side!

On my Alfa75, the front tyres wears out faster than the rear. The turning wheels are the ones that wears first.

Not tonight. I'll be having a crab beehoon supper with my partners at Tiong Bahru and after that, zoom to Geylang, not to have some fun, but to have a part 2 crab beehoon supper (yes, crab again!) with my ex-classmates. Well I guess food is food, be it in liquid, semi-liquid, semi-solid or solid form........... You should try the Milo powder on top of Milo peng. Looks like a killer, man! Someone please remind me to order that the next time I go there!

And I guess that's not a bad thing...

anyway I'm happy with these tyres.. just can't seem to get them balanced. Even now there is still a little bit of vibration.... or maybe I'm just too sensitive.

I think in a RWD, the front tyres doesn't wear as fast as the FWD as the load is reduced. However, the front tyres does take a lot of punishment during cornering, irrespective being driven or not.
