Usually it's the fan spoil that cos the car overheat, you are always spot on

It is the fan motor that is faulty.

 

Original Denso made-in-Japan fan motor $180, labour $90.

 

Expensive or not?

 

Not sure if expensive or not. The last time I changed fan motor, abt 10yrs ago, it was $100, fan + labour all in. But mine was a re-con fan motor lah.

 

Check with stockist the price of the fan motor. Labour a bit on the high side for a fan motor.

Hi!i went for car servicing yesterday.found dat 1 of my radiator fan faulty.i asked hw much n they quote me its 300!!was shockd bt at d same tme wonders if its ard dat range.so hw much cheaper n which workshop can i go to fix it?

juz change mine original (Denso) fan motor for Honda RN6 at $120 + $30 which i think is reasonable...

Depends on what car.

 

Is yours Rolls Royce or Ferrari? Then maybe about right.

 

But if yrs is a BnB normal car, then its very expensive. Most only pay abt $100 plus for a new motor(Original Denso) n labour.

 

Was the $300 quoted by Agent? Ty always charge much more than outside ws.
